Question Interstate Investigations, How does this work?

It's very interesting to me that each state has it's own Licensing laws.

Consider the fact that any particular investigation could
conceivably direct an investigator into an interstate situation and into another state with different licensing requirements.

If the investigator is then stopped by local law enforcement, and asked to show credentials, would this put the out of state investigator in risk of violation of local licensing requirements?
I am just wondering how this would work.
Thanks in advance for any information concerning this matter.

    Question Interstate Investigations

Your question regarding which laws will apply any investigator that may possibly have to travel to another state while working on their case is very much indeed a great question.

As you may know, several divorce investigations regarding children can very easily take an investigator out of state.

If anyone has any info on this subject, I would like to know also. I intend to do some research on the subject. If I find out any solid info I will up date the forum.

    Will be in touch.

Interstate Investigations, How does this work?

I'm very interested in the answer(s) to this as well. From my location in North Texas, it's conceivable that an investigation could easily take me into Oklahoma, Arkansas or Louisiana.

    Best Regards,

    Carleton
