QUOTE:
Liddy's sentence was commuted by then President Jimmy Carter, and in the early 1980's. After his release from federal prison, he and a new colleague started G. Gordon Liddy & Associates, an international Private Security and Counter-Surveillance Agency.

While G. Gordon Liddy & Associates grew to be very successful, Liddy became very busy pursuing his political and book writing dreams. He and his colleague decided it was time to part ways. Even after the split they maintained a solid friendship and both remained successful in their respective ventures.

With the end of the G. Gordon Liddy & Associates (GGLA) agency came the birth of The Protection Group, Ltd (TPG), led by the former GGLA partner of Liddy. In addition to the services formally provided by G. Gordon Liddy & Associates, TPG expanded into residential and commercial security systems, security guards, and VIP protection. TPG ceased operations in 1997 after the death of it's founder. In 2004, Advanced Protection Group, LLC. (APG) was founded. To read more about TPG: Click Here
