    Registered Sex Offenders

I wanted to start this thread, as it is a subject that is dear to my heart. Most of us are parents, grandparents, have little brothers & sisters, whom we want to keep safe and out of harms way as best we can.

It does not always work out that way, because there are just too many cruel and disgusting people in the world around us.

In the url below is a map showing how many sex offenders there are living in each state. It is astounding to me, how these people can and do live in our neighborhoods and sometimes we never know about it until it's too late.

This map shows that there are 716,750 registered sex offenders amongst us everyday, and these are just the registered ones. To me that is a lot of worry to face each day as we allow the little ones to play in the yard or go off to their friends' homes for a sleep over.

On this website you will be able to click on your state to get a list of registered sex offenders. After filling in a few details on the website, you can get a list of names and full information on the offender, most times including a picture.

I am posting this ONLY as a reference to anyone interested. Not to harass, stalk or victimize the offenders in any way, but purely for your informational purposes only.

Safety of our loved ones is always at the forefront of our responsibilities, and the more we know the safer we can be.
