It is scary out there. I have been off from my regular job for a long time now. I am only a hour and change from the city and the whole county is hurting.

Re: National Unemployment at 39.4% for August 1, 2010 Report

    HelloHi Donna,

I know with the current economic situation worldwide, unemployment like everything thing else is running ramped, but I personally feel that we all knew something was coming and we all were going to have to make changes in our lives in some form. None of us wanted it to be as drastic as it has been, but at the same time, those who just did not see the handwriting on the wall, honestly, I feel for them. Those of us who have taken advantage of the situation seem to be doing just fine. We all have to make compromises in our lives in different ways. Being a Private Investigator and a member of the IPIU seems to be a viable solution. I personally have had very good success in my career path and make adjustments as and when necessary to keep heads above water.

There are jobs available for those who really want to work. It may or may not be what they want to do or are used to doing, but in order to feed ones family, a person must do what has to be done and again, compromise. Just adding my 2 cents worth.
