    Yepee !!! Got Them

    Received my fingerprint card and photo information today when I checked the mail. I could see the brown envelope and knew it was here after receiving a phone call last week that my paperwork was on the way. I am on my way and still very excited can't wait to start receiving assignments because it has been 5 months since I have worked. Very good day

    I know I can't wait myself. The day I had revieved my stuff, the next day we had a snow/ice storm made it tough to wait till after the weekend. But after about 3 hours...It finally happened !!!!!

    The pics were the ones that took the longest. AAA had to take them 3 times.

    Congrats

    Yes, you never know life is full of surprises. I have been telling friends about this and I can't wait to get assignments. I enjoy meeting people but also I like finding out information on people. When I worked as a dispatcher you would be surprised to know the information on people when you ran their names for a deputy.
    I can't wait to do some background checks and I am looking forward to learn so much from the experts out their already in the field.

    How funny, I also took a while at AAA. In the end, I had to make the pictures smaller myself, because they couldn't get the size right.

    The photo shops try their best but mosty aren't set up to produce what you need in the way of the 1 and 1/8 inch square head shot.

    Wouldn't it be great if there were a place that specialized in that type of picture, and it were available to IPIU members?

    At the least, you were able to "fix it" yourself. No small accomplishment!

    Have a great weekend,

    LOL = Laughing Out Loud

    Instead of "street talk," it's "net talk."

    Commonly used in chat rooms, instant messenging programs and email. Other examples: BTW = By the Way, AFK = Away From Keyboard, FWIW = For What It's Worth, etc.

    Hope this helps and I hope this answers your question... maybe I read it wrong. LOL Good luck here, it's a great place.
