That's great news and such a motivator to us newcomers. I will have my first assignment this week.
Good luck to all.

I am one of the new people only in the registration portion. I know I have a long way to go but can't wait to be out on assignments.

Debra,
In response to this thread from a couple of years ago, why was it that you could not quit your other job, even though you were already working as a PI? And, did you ever start bounty hunting? If so, do you enjoy it?

How exciting. One day I will be walking in your shoes and you will be able to see me (right thru the PC) jumping up and down because my first assignment has come via the email stork. I can soooooooooooo hardly wait.
Congrats on all the assignments you have under your belt.

I really appreciate a post like this for the encouragement. I know that we'll be able to learn more about assignments at Level 4, but until we get there it's nice to have posts like this one to keep us motivated during the learning and training phase. Thanks for sharing and continued success!
Lynn
I am still in the waiting for assignment stage but geeze Debra way to go (you go girl) smile keep up the good work, it seems as though you are having fun and enjoying what ever type assignments you get.

Just wanted to say congradulations Debra, I hope to be getting some assignments soon. Patience is not one my many virtues. I work two jobs and just signed up to take a couple of college classes in the fall. How long did you have to wait to get your first assignment. Continued good luck.

undefined This post is so motivating. It is great to here about others assignments. I have only been with IPIU for 2 weeks and I must say when I want to do something patience is not my best virtue.
Hearing about others is so refreshing and makes me hopeful that I will be where you are soon
Good luck in your next assignments!

Congratulations, Debra! This is wonderful news and we all feel your excitement! I am like a lot of other International Private Investigators Union family members who can't wait until I get my first assignment. Treat yourself to something special!
Congrats Debra,
I am new to this, so I am still in the process to get the paperwork to get to know more what to learn and get out of this. So wish you the best, and keep us posted.
I just joined yesterday. I have been studing PI for a while, since I learned that my job will be outsourced! After reading so much in the forums, I can't wait to improve and grow in this field!Originally Posted by Jereme K. Amberson

Damon,
Congratulations on getting your license. I am just now getting assignments through IPIU, and I know that I have a ways to go. Hearing from people who have reached the next level of accomplishment is what really helps me stay motivated. Good Luck in everything you do.
Thanks TC! It's good to hear that you are getting assignments. I know that I really need some work about now, and am waiting to get to level 4 so I have access to that part of the site.
Good luck to you too!
Thats great to hear Debra. I have tried to apply for some assignments but I have had no luck yet. I'm patiently waiting and hoping to get started soon.
I hear that Deborah! I would LOVE to quit my boring, unfullfilling 9-5 job. And do something fun and exciting and worthwhile. Someday, soon.Originally Posted by Deborah W

Hang in there Amalia, you sound a bit frustrated. It will all come in time - give yourself credit for not quitting your unfulfililng 9-5 job first. I've heard of many people who get so excited at new opportunities, they let the bird in hand go to chase after the two in the bush...then regret it. The old saying "good things come to those who wait" is still around for a very good reason, its true!
Good luck to you.
Lori
Thanks Lori,
Yeah I guess I am a little frustrated. But I'm sticking with it because I know that there is so much more waiting for me.
But thank you for the support! See you around.
Amalia
Your message is reassuring, especially for "Trainees". As I read your testimony, I understand you are only part time. That is interesting to note, since your future endeavor is in Bounty Hunting. Your efforts are noteworthy in juggling both family and career. You motivate me! My ultimate goal is fulltime, but I look forward to any and all assignments.
Again thanks much for your sharing your success and growth!
Kimberly
Gread advice everyone. I always push the idea of "Patience & Persistence."
Good luck.
I feel the same way. I worked the same job for years and I also go to school ft. The best feeling is when I leave for the day and head to school at night. I guess the reason I feel like that is because I know that I am doing something that i enjoy. That's why I can't wait until I have completed everything and start with the P.I work.Originally Posted by Amalia Martinelli

Dear Debra,
Terrific Job, You are earning the rewards of a job well done! Keep going and you will be able to leave the regular job behind for something you really love to do. I hope to be there soon too. I am going slowly, but am working on it! Diane
