Guest stars are beginning to line up for CBS’s upcoming reboot of the fan-favorite television series Magnum P.I.
Appearing in the first season of the updated crime series is veteran comedy actor Ken Jeong, fresh off the success of this month’s Crazy Rich Asians, who will guest star as Lee Ji-Won, a poker buddy of Magnum’s (Jay Hernandez). The Hangover star’s character is also a private investigator with more questionable morals than his Ferrari-driving fellow detective.

Also guest starring in the debut season is Carl Weathers who famously starred as Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films. Weathers will appear as Dan, a former Marine that struggles to make ends meet as a fisherman. After a prize tuna is stolen, Weathers’ character tasks Magnum to help him recover it.
The new series is set in Hawaii like the original series with the network reportedly planning a crossover between the reboot and Hawaii Five-0 as both series share the same setting and were both developed for television by Peter Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim.
