Private Investigators have personal lives too, including our favorite songs and videos

    Bobby Darin and Petula Clark

A very popular song from the days when we could actually "hear" the words of a song (rather than some of the current trash today).

    Seductive chemistry, unabashed talent

Bobby lived show business ,even if he was very ill, which was most of the time because of a damaged heart, he gave it his all. He died in 1973, during open heart surgery, at the age of 37. Pet Clark is now (2013) 81 years of age. Isn't it just a bit sad that some of us live for such a long age while others leave us before, it seems, life has begun.

Such as sad outcome for an outstanding artist, and a really pretty song.

One of my favorites is Roy Orbison singing his all time hit, PRETTY WOMAN, along with backup by a young BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, JD Souther, and others in a rare 1987 night club concert.

The stage chemistry is really good among these great artists.

Below is a true modern day gem, accompanied by the surviving Beach Boys:

    I Can Hear Music
    Kathy Troccoli and Beach Boys!

(Tell us what you think about the selections in this topic)
