I certainly agree. But on the lighter side, I recall Jack Nicholson telling a young lawyer (Tom Cruise) . . . "You can't handle the truth!"

So maybe the moral of the quote, along with yours, is to become a good person first and then ask for more truth. Otherwise, a not-so-good person may not want to know themselves to then meet god.
