If you have a handgun permit, more than likely it is GOOD to carry in other states.

I like the CCRKBA site and their information because it has the convenient "reverse" look up. This one is also useful, and it has excerpts that are accurate: http://www.handgunlaw.us/ Both compare written reciprocity agreements as well as codified permissable uses.

Washington state has a site sponsored by our Attorney General ( http://www.atg.wa.gov/page.aspx?id=7772 ) and I expect other states that have reciprocity by written agreements as well.

Florida ccw permit is good in 38 states. Hb218 for active and retired law enforcement officers is good in all 50 states and its territories. You must qualify annually with a law enforcement agency and carry your agency credentials and weapons qualification card to be covered under hb218.

I can't remember the exact # of states but Utah has the best reciprocity agreements. They will give non-residents concealed carry permits through the mail provided you have attended the proper training class for the state of Utah.

Tennessee's ccw permit is good in 37 states and TN also has a Lifetime License. Which I have, it's great! Hb218 for active and retired Military and law enforcement officers is good in all 50 states and its territories. You must qualify annually with a law enforcement agency and carry your agency credentials and weapons qualification card to be covered under hb218.

For those of you in or near Mississippi State. You can apply for the MS State Enhanced Security Guard license and Gun permit. This permit/License allows anyone to be able to carry anywhere in MS (ie.. the court house and any other place you can't carry with a permit.
