prohibit against "emotional distress" caused by surveillance.
4. Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) introduced two privacy bills,
H.R. 654, the "Do Not Track Me Online Act" that would allow consumers the option to opt out of online activity tracking. She also introduced H.R. 653, the "Financial Information Privacy Act" which limits the ability of financial institutions to share customer data.
5. "Cyber Security and American Cyber Competiveness Act"
