Private Investigator Trainee Earns $900 in 3 hours

I earned $900 (averaged $225.00 to $300.00 per hour)

Federal Civil Anti-Piracy Auditors Case:

(I planned to check out 36 locations for potential piracy violations) on my route. Of that, I drove by 25-30 locations (had my husband drive to save time parking), and actually went inside 11 places. Of the 11 locations I checked out, 3 were committing piracy. I was out from 8pm to 12 midnight.


I earned $900 (averaged $225.00 to $300.00 per hour) because I upgraded my paygrade to include the PI Union License

This was my 2nd assignment. I didn't find any piracy on my first assignment, so I did not earn anything. So don't get discouraged! I then planned out my route of 36 places to stop by on my second assignment! The list I used it on my first assignment was adjusted for the second assignment.

ALL 3 OF MY PIRATE LOCATIONS were NOT COMMITING PIRACY on the first assignment - which meant just because the bars were not pirating the TV broadcast on one night, they chose to pirate the TV broadcast on another night when I caught them!

TIP:
Be familiar with the interests of certain areas- i.e. which areas are likely to show which events. That is the key to choosing which areas to look in for which events!

I had done my first assignment and found one piracy violations in my own hometown. Walked in and right behind the bar was the violation with men sitting. I did not think I would find one in my own hometown after driving to different towns in my area. I am waiting for my second assignment. Do not get upset if you do not find one, they are out there and sometimes they are under our own noses. It was exciting when you find you first one. Keep trying and you will catch them.

Question, how do you know if these pubs or bars don't have a legal right to broadcast a TV signal? This don't quite make sense. Its not like the owners of the establishment are going to tell you that they are pirates. Do you have or get a database of bars that may be in-violation?

The advanced training in the private areas of this web site details on how to determine if an establishment is in violation or not. There are two agencies at this site who offer these assignments, and depending on your forum access - you can sign up for one or the other agency.

Well, Erika Emal has joined Union in April 2009( according to the forum registration) and got her 2nd assignment in May 2009. What really wonders me is the number of congrat's notes coming from another PI encouraging Erika's achievement. Such motivation does not work for me because it looks like a catch for another job looking people, like a bait. How many assignments got Erika since 2009 ? How much she earned for that period of time? How much she spent( with her husband working as a driver) for the same time? Sorry people, but sounded pretty not serious for saint humans. I came here for earning, not for fun. I saw enough Hollywood movies about undercover agents , I need money and not a fun or adrenaline.

This looks like a GREAT opportunity. I'll admit that I'm still a little skeptical being a newcomer and all, but I've been wanting to pursue being a PI for a over year now, and it really is the perfect fit for me being enrolled in school while working. That being said, would you mind explaining to me how you received payment for your actions? Is it a direct deposit system or did you receive your check in the mail?

The agencies which offer these types of cases usually pay by check. If you have Level 4 access to all of the other agencies, they lean more toward paying via a free paypal account.
