Hired as a undercover private investigator! Thanks IPIU for making my dream a reality

To all that reads the threads, I received my IPIU Private Investigator Photo Credentials in Feb of 2006. It is now June of 2006 and I am happy to say that I have been hired by a private investigation agency as a mobile surveillance investigator. They do work for the insurance companies.

I am real excited about finally learning how to be an investigator. I am being trained by the agency and the money is not bad at all.

I want everyone to know that you can do this if you really want too.

Thank you I.P.I.U for helping me to get started, and making my dream a reality!

    Congratulations to Jacob too.

It's nice to know somebody like you. I think you are a wonderful person, that most agency wanted you. OK, let's sing this song:

"Here I am on the road again......here I am on the way for you. (chorus) Ooooooohhhh! here I am on the road with you!"

Congratulations Jacob, on your new job. I'm looking to get into some surveillance work that would document and lead to the arrest of people who abuse animals. I'm waiting for my level 4 to be activated so that I can start signing up for assignments. I'm looking forward to any further stories you have to share. Best of luck.

    HEY hey !

SURVEILLANCE is a wonderful and exciting Job to jump into the field of FIELD work and also learning how to do the administrative odds and ends COngratulations Sir Jacob ! I want to Dabble as well, but the agency I am working for which I serve papers for Doesn't want to use me, or has no room for surveillance in its business ! It stinks It's more competitive here ! I think I shall become Certified first in the actual ART for it. I also want an endorsement to look good on a business Card also that I can do it.

How did you land the position ? A resume , with objective !

My favorite work in the field is insurance fraud investigations. Once I sat in the woods all day (4am to 7pm) and video-taped this guy who was "hurt" so bad on the job that he couldn't work. He was (and I emphasize was) collecting workman's comp until that day.....

I havwe to admit that NEVER ONCE have I witnessed or heard in my local regions or in the news papers of my large METRO area about "Staged Crashes" That has got to be by far the lamest attempt to collect on policies. I never could understand why folks do it. I mean, is it a common thing to occurbut more so in RURAL areas? I am curious. Elaborate if you would please as to what some of your experience is with staged crashes/collisions and then some. Where do you really find this guys ? It's a little extreme. Isnt the jeopardy extreme, or is this mob related? lol. One might never know, heh
    Take care

Do you do this type of work independently for some insurance contractors? I was going to see how to be behind the desk or do surveillances, but right now just completing my certification tests. I wish employers would like that.

    Hi Jacob,
Congradulations on being hired! I wish you the best of luck in your new job. Did you apply to the company through IPIU, or on your own? Just curious how you landed the job.

    Thanks.
