    Thumbs up Updated

    CAUTION
    If you cannot read all of these instructions
    and follow them accordingly to apply to
    become a Moderator,
    Then please disregard this topic.

    The Private Investigators Forum is destined to become a largest Internet discussion board in the world for private investigators, case examiners, and other professionals - when our formal email invitations are released to the remaining general membership.

    There are several sub-forum openings for Moderators and Sr. Moderators. We need to recruit and train 80 Moderators and Sr. Moderators for the "long term" project of this website.

    This website is nothing like anything else in the world for private investigators . . . . . nothing! Yet, we have been challenged with increased demands, having a higher speed connections, having forum software that won't crash, having sponsors in place to help offset the cost of hosting the website, and having qualified and trained Moderators & Sr. Moderators in place.

    Everything has been accomplished, except the last step . . . enough sufficient numbers of qualified and trained Moderators and Sr. Moderators.

    We are still adding more Moderator Benefits to the program, but so far we are looking at the following:

    1. *FREE IPIU Economy Preferred Union Dues Renewals Waived ($99/a year value).
      • Level 3 and 4 Union Members who graduate as a Moderator will receive free renewal of Economy Preferred union dues.
      • Level 2 expired Union Members who graduate as a Moderator will receive free renewal of Economy Preferred union dues.
      • Level 2 First Time credentialed members who graduate will receive free Economy Preferred union dues.
      • Level 1 Guest Forum Members who graduate as Moderator will receive free year of Economy Preferred union dues.
    2. *FREE Private Investigator Photo Credentials ($89 value):
      • First Time non-credentialed members who graduate as Moderator will receive free photo credentials.
      • Current and expired union members will receive free photo credentials.
    3. FREE Private Investigator Training Manuals, Certifications, E-Books, PI Software, and other titles
    4. FREE client referrals and weekly assignment openings
    5. FREE Continuing Education, Legal & Licensing Updates and Amendments
    6. FREE Access to over one hundred (100) endorsed Integrity Investigation firms who are hiring, including easy online applications for your assigned territory
    7. FREE Training and Certification as a Federal Signal Theft Investigator, including on-the-job assignment opportunities
    8. FREE annual subscriptions SEVEN (7) NEW FREE Investigative Subscriptions! (Revised).
    9. 30% to 48% cash-back credit on most IPIU products, books, and merchandise
    10. FREE Access to other private forums and free agency & employments referrals. See Level 3 & 4 Access Topic
    11. Private Investigators Office as low as $5.95/month (receptionist, secretary, office & voice mail)
    12. FREE pi-agency.us email.
    13. DISCOUNTED Business Cards with exclusive IPIU Seal
    14. DISCOUNTED Third-Party Certification of earned hours for license
    15. (And more as we add them)

    For the Sr. Moderator Benefits program, we are looking at the following:

    1. *IPIU Union Dues Renewal Waived, Plus Free upgrade to Management Union Dues Membership (Valued at $149.00).
      • Level 3 and 4 Union Members who graduate as Sr. Moderator will receive free renewal of Management union dues.
      • Level 2 expired Union Members who graduate as Sr. Moderator will receive free renewal of Management union dues.
      • Level 2 First Time credentialed members who graduate as Sr. Moderator will receive free year of Management union dues.

    2. *FREE Private Investigator Photo Credentials ($89 value):

      • Current and expired union members who graduate as Sr. Moderator will receive free photo credentials.
(Revised).

    13. FREE Unlisted Toll Free Number for Sr. Moderator Support.
    14. Guaranteed Hourly or Flat Fee to perform tasks on behalf of some of our member agencies and law firms. (We have many more agencies interested in developing their training and assignment forums at IPIU's website. Moderators will be given first opportunity to do the assignments and to be guaranteed any extra income from those agencies.
    15. FREE Home Page for each Sr. Moderator, to promote more assignments and work for you.
    16. FREE office setup in Denver, Colorado and other new offices opening up nationwide for doing national assignments from your home state. Includes secretary/receptionist, and call forwarding to your unlisted home phone. (This will permit any unlicensed unregulated private investigator to perform and advertise their services in all of the states that do not have state licensing regulations, such as Colorado, Alaska, Idaho, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Mississippi, Missouri, and others.)
    17. Corporation Discounts:
    18. FREE pi-agency.us email.
    19. (And more as we add them)

    * The above benefits are for active moderators. Less active moderators may request a discount on the free items if they are not active. Activity is based on at least once a week postings, tasks, approvals, etc in the Moderators Journal. Inactive Moderators receive no discounts or benefits. Inactivity may be deemed after an absence of one month or more.

    ALSO:

    • These positions are voluntary, but will give the Moderator immense exposure to thousands of agencies and firms worldwide. In a sense, it is a position as a "News Anchor", such as seen on broadcast television.

    • Moderators and Sr. Moderators can choose their days and hours of coverage, of which they leave a browser window open to monitor and reply to other investigator member's topics and replies.

    • Experience as an investigator is not required, but a desire to read up on the subject and to post interesting topics and comments is.

    In order to pre-qualify for an application:

    1. Start participating in the forums by helping other members. Take your lead by following the examples of other Administrators, Moderators, and Members in how helpful they are to directing members in answering their questions.

    2. The applicant should complete the FAQ Tutorials. The tutorials are easy to follow and do not require any prior experience.

    3. Other tutorials are offered in the forum titled Technical Support.

    4. Once the FAQ's and tutorials are completed, the applicant should begin posting test topics and replies in the Test Your Skills Forum . Place a few samples there.

    5. Then email us and give your name and details through the following link:
      http://www.ipiu.org/forums/sendmessage.php

      We'll go from there!

    Thanks for your interest. It can be extremely fun.

    Moderator and Sr. Moderator benefits updated today!

    Here is a copy of an email received from a union member whose union dues just expired:

    QUESTION:
    My union membership term has expired. I'd like to ask about being a moderator in exchange for a renewed membership.

    ANSWER:
    Once your union dues expired, your passcode access dropped from Level 4 to Level 1. Your previous Level 4 access gave you access to all of the union benefits, cash savings, job assignments, cases, referrals, and other items that are designed to both save and earn money.

    Here are some choices and options:
    1. You can sign up and take the Moderator Course with your current Level 1 access. Expired union members can receive the free renewal year of union dues after they graduate as a Moderator. Although a Level 4 union member would have between 300 to 400 forums to use for their Moderator Training, a Level 1 Moderator who only has 22 forums available can still graduate as a Moderator, but at a different pace because for the difference in forum size.
    2. Or, if you renew this week (for as little as $89 for the entire year), you will have the use of 300 to 400 forums to take the Moderator Course. When you graduate over the next several weeks or the next few months as a moderator, then we will ADD a free renewal year to your account.

    QUESTION:
    How long does it take to graduate as a Moderator?

    ANSWER:
    Some moderator trainees take 3-4 weeks to graduate, while others may take 2-4 months. It is entirely up to the moderator trainee, with the following factors:

    • How long you have been participating on the forums;
    • How many posts you have authored;
    • How fast you absorb the material;
    • How often you practice;
    • How often participate with your trainers;
    • How skillful you are with the forum software;
    • How skillful you are navigating the forums.

    The all-time record was Johnny Ginsberg who graduated in two weeks. But he had been a very active forum member for a few years and came to know what moderators expect, do, and how they manage the forums.

    In either event, we welcome you to read the above topic link and apply to Ms. Stewart via email.
