Got hired for hit and run accident.

I applied for an investigation of a hit and run accident. The attorney emailed me back. My partner replied and we got the job. I am working it today 8/01/05. I will let you know the final outcome. We agreed on $35 an hour plus mileage. John W. O'Kelly

    John,

Great news. I'm alittle late on this, so I was wondering what the outcome was.

The private union Level 4 forums are the areas to discuss the details of clients and assignments, and not here in the public forums.

    Thank you for your support,

I check the job opening lists daily. I apply for all those in my area. I don't always find them as quickly as I should. Just have to hang with it. I posted a reply on 10/11/05. Sorry it took so long. I forgot it took a couple of days find all the information. By then CRS kicked in (can't remember 0000).

It took us a couple of days but we sorted throught the bad information. The pedestrian was so drunk he could not remember what town or county he got hit in. We talked to approximately 15 people at 4 police department, 2 ambulance services, two hospitals, and 3 sheriff's offices before finding the location. We submitted the report and invoice and unfortunately for us Katrina struck. The attorney's office paying us was in New Orleans. We are not pressing for payment. We figure they have enough problems right now.

    Kudo's John,

Sounds like you did quite a bit of leg work and phone calls.
Hang in there, New O'leans will be back.
