Arrow Completed my first job with an IPIU Executive Agency

It has been a while since I had a chance to post a thread on IPIU with being busy with school and work and buying my first house.
I want to let everyone know that I got a part time job with one of the executive agencies with only military experience. Hopefully I will get a chance to get my PI licsense within in the next six months or so.
I also have completed my first job!

    See everyone around,

    David

Well congratulations, David! I know the feeling about not being able to visit the forums as much but as time goes on - and we see our way to more devotion to the industry - we will have to spend more time here. One thing I am glad about is that when I was unemployed for six months over 4 months ago I spent hundreds of hours reading, printing and studying the forums. Time well spent. But again, congrats on the part time job........we look forward to hearing how it all goes.

    Be Proud!

    Congratulations David..
On the job and the new house, what an exciting time for you! Keep at it, you're going in the right direction, just one thing,
please don't ever put "only" in front of military experience, it tends to take away the credit you've earned, be proud, I'm proud of you, and thank you for serving!!
    Continued success!!

Thanks for all the support Suesyn, Terry, Joyce, and Cheryl. I will be able to get to the forums more often next week after I move in and I finish my summer term at Regent University.
Joyce, I'm not trying to take away from my Marine Corps experience, I wanted to say that I got the job with out having any PI experience.

And whoever else out there that is real motivated, you can get a part time job or even a full time job in no time with out much experience.

    David,
I'm in a similiar situation. With school possible, starting with IPIU-wainting on creditials-test/book-assignments, going from full to part-time work an dhopefully PI full-time. I have a family also but everyone is so supportive, except mom offcourse, I do a pretty good balancing act. I have minimal invst. and no military background, I kow everyone comes in with seperate backgrounds, but you are th closes I've found to my own. I know my plate will become alot more full. How did you handle it? Also, I'd like to thankyou for your military services, I have the up-upmost respect for you, I want turn this to a political forum but if it was not for people like yourself our country couldn't enjoy the freedoms which so many have know, thanks.
