I think this would be wonderful info to get license. But I live in WV and it didnt pull up for me..I have called the state and
you have to have 2 years of training under a licensed PI or
2 years of school. I need hands on training. Im just not sure how to get that here. Do you have any suggestions. Do you think the jobs posted with ipiu would be in WV? This is the big
thing for me. I sure would appreciate your help..

Margaret,IPIU has a class that you can take online to get PI training through Global. If you still have questions about what your state requirements then you need to go on to the license law forum to find out.You can also do Piracy assignments through IPIU when you get to level 4.

Margaret when you get to level 4 you can apply to assignments and go on to website that will have Anti Piracy Assignments.

An internship program is a good way to start to become a license investigator.

If Colorado doesn't offer licensure, how do we get something with a license # for the data base access, i.e., LocatePlus? Hope someone can help!

Here is what I wrote to another member:

". . . if you wish to jump start a faster approach, then consider investing in your own PI Agency Corporation License at the following secured credit card link:
    http://www.privateinvestigators.cc/p...oducts_id=1584

In the above link you can request your PI Agency Corporation License which is the beginning of starting your own national PI Agency where you can accept cases from the public, and assign the unregulated cases to yourself while sub-contracting the regulated cases to licensed PI's who will work cases at a fraction of what you charge clients - allowing you, as the owner, to earn while learn. Private Investigators who own their own agency always earn more because they can still work for others, but they can also earn more with their agency.
