I have a thirst for knowledge, so I was eager to read the Manual and return my tests!

I finally received my manual and test. I enjoyed the manual. I learned alot while reading it and the test was easiler than i anticipated. Everyone here has been very helpful with their input and professional knowledge. Thanks to all at the International Private Investigators Union (IPIU).

    good for you Penny

In reading all of these threads I know we are all excited and can't wait until we get our manuals. I am very excited and the anticipation is getting the best of me just like some of the others. How long after you signed in for your membership did you recieve your manual? In your opinion how long do you think it would take someone to read it through and be able to take the test? I have read that we have to have at least an 80%. I also read somewhere that if you fail a section we can take it over again. I wish you the best in your studying and good luck to you. Yes i have received my manual & test. It took myself two days to read and complete the tests. However i can not speak for others ,but i have a thirst for knowledge so i was eager to read the manual and return my tests. As of this time I have not received my scores, but i feel confident that I passed. I am so excite that the anticipation is killing me to get started in this new venture. Thanks for the support.

Now the fun begins. When you get to level four, adjust your reading glasses. There is sooo much more to learn. Good luck.

    Hi Larry !

You are soooooright ! It is unbeleivable, all the things to read and do once we reach level four. I'm having fun, though and can hardly wait to have even more things available to me.

The best of luck to all those who are waiting for test results, etc.

    Hi Penny,

So glad to hear you enjoyed the test. The manual is great isn't it? I enjoyed my experience with it.

You will find that the members, moderators, admin, and tech support will do all they can to help when needed.

The great thing about the forums is most of the questions asked have already been answered within the forums. Its just a matter of searching and finding. Sort of a warm up for the "real assignments".

    Have a great weekend,

    Hi Penny and Georgina
The manual is well written and informative, you will probably refer to it quite often. I still open mine up and read it and will continue to do so. Good luck on the test and in all your future endeavors.

    Hi Marietta,

As I read your reply, I notices something was conspicuously missing. I looked at it and realized it was capitalization.

Every time you post or reply to a post, others read what you have written. Potential employers are among those who read your work.

Capitalization is crucial to a post, reply to post, or a report to an employer. When capitalization is missing, it makes it difficult to read and understand.

Why not start now, and use proper capitalization and punctuation, so when it comes time for you to produce an actual report to an employer, everything will be as it should.

I do hope you are enjoying reading the forums. They are really packed with great information, hints, and help.

I hope you have a great weekend.

    Good Morning,
I received my manual and test yesterday. I have been lost, no Internet connection since last Friday. I hope its finally fixed. I had no idea how much I rely on the computer for things. Off to study and take the test.

    Corrina,

I, too, was a little hesitant at first. It just seemed too good to be true. However, now that the assignments are rolling in, I'm not hesitant at all !!!!!!

    You'll do just fine, Ryan.

Take your time. Even an extra day or two, in the grand scheme of things, isn't going to affect anything.

The idea is to do the best you can.

    All the best to you,

    TJ

    Patiently waiting

I see there are many waiting for their manuals & tests. When I first found IPIU almost 1 month ago I didn't have the funds to pay right away so it has been quite a wait for me. I an hoping to get my info this week.

Although I am quite anxious, it has definitely been worth the wait. I have learned so much from all the members and have seen that this really is a place where people are helping people. Just want to say thanks for letting me be a part of IPIU.

Good luck everyone on your tests!
