You are most welcome , mate.

I hope I can pass my knowledge on to anyone willing to learn. They just have to sometimes put up with my banter too. See you in the chit chat.

It makes me so happy to hear about more and more females becoming PI's...

One would think a PI is your typical male Sherlock Holmes or Dick Tracy...

    Not anymore....
    WOO HOO!

    You go girls!

As an additional comment to those of you who are really serious about becoming a licensed PI, I would suggest that you look into working a few years as a claims adjuster or investigator for one of the insurance carriers in your area. Although, as I look back over the years, I would not hesitate to being extremely open and flexible to relocating to the company that will give you the greatest amount of education in the shortest period of time.

Some of you may have seen recent posts I have made concerning this occupation. I can promise you that the knowledge and experience you gain as an adjuster or SIU investigator will enhance your skills profile and build a better foundation for you to stand on. Above all else, take a look at the salary base. The best part is, as I did back in the 70's, I worked part-time as a PI for several agencies while working full time as an adjuster. Those years paid off for me today. I work for several insurance carriers as a field claims examiner only because many know me from being a former adjuster and SIU fraud investigator with a national insurance carrier. Believe me, once you establish yourself and your credibility, your job in becoming a PI will generate a very nice income. You won't get rich but you won't be poor either.

    Food for thought!

Thanks Donna and Mary for words of encouragement. I will start my day viewing "View Active Topics" from the main forum. I am a newbie trying to figure how to continue using the forum for posting. Thanks for answering this question for me.

I am getting my fingerprints done today by the local Police station. Already had my photos taken, and will complete the rest of the packet this week. Look forward to the good, the bad, and the ugly. Wish me luck!
