    Are there any limits?

Are there any limits to how many different license you can obtain.
If there is or isn't will any one license conflict with another?

    Hi George,

You can find your answers in the following links.

PI Licensing: California also includes a link to the Statutes.

Summary Topic: Links to Licensing Requirements for all States

You may find that the states you are interested in have reciprocal agreements. You can be licensed in one state and work in another, but you have to know the procedure.

I hope this has helped you.
