Thanks to all of you for writing to me.

All I can say is it takes dedication and commitment, then anyone of you can achieve your dream.

I just want to let you all know that I have a 3.78 GPA towards my Criminal Justice degree. Next year, Jan. 12th to be exact, I will be going to the Law Enforcement Academy.

I passed my physical with flying colors and the doctor told me that I have more strength than some me going in. Not to bad for an older goat heh?

So with all that I have achieved in the last year, I know that each one of you can do the same thing.

Also, I will be getting a private investigators license in Nevada so I can go interstate.

Take care one and all, and Merry Christmas....and Happy New Year!

    Jenn:

This is just terrific. You are an inspiration to this "older" goat as well.

Reading about your accomplishment tells me that you have kept your eye on the goal all along. I find that exciting.

    Best Wishes!

    Again,

I couldn't have said it any better myself. Especially now that I am working on the Level 4 forums, I feel so much closer to actually doing some field work. Reading about Jennifer's successes and her drive to move forward in this career gives me so much inspiration and motivation to proceed ahead. Every once in a while a good success story is needed when the road appears to be a long one. I know that the journey is definately worth it and the end result will be wonderful for all of us, as long as we strive to pursue our dreams and put the wheels in motion each and every day. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and especially to Jennifer for making me see such a wonderful picture of what could be waiting for me in the road ahead. God Bless You!

    Take Care,

    Congratulations!!

Way to go Jennifer! I'm very happy that you have achieved such a tremendous goal. If you'll forgive my curiosity, what's your definition of an "old goat"? Even so, you sound to be in terrific shape, and I'm sure you will be an inspiration to your fellow cadets at the Academy.

    Congratulations again!

    Jennifer,

Congratulations and best wishes... I just started with IPIU this week and purchased the Management Membership. I know it's a long path to get to where you are today and Florida isn't an easy state to get you license however I ready and willing.

Thanks to all for the great comments it makes me feel good to have all the support. Just to let you know I've made it this far but it is a lot to remember. But it will be worth it in the end. I'll keep you all informed. As it stands right now i'll graduate in October too bad you all can't be there. It would be nice to meet all of you. maybe someday......
    Thanks again

I hope everything's great in Idaho. I used to live

Air Force at the time and was stationed in Mountain Home.

Congratulations are a bit overdue, but I only came on board with IPIU this April. This is a great affirmation that humilty(being teachable & willing to start at point A), working consistently towards the goal, and not rushing into anything hastily is a sure blueprint for success in this field.

For a newcomer this is music to my ears, and the kind of success story that needs to be shared. Thank you IPIU & Jennifer Cossey for paving the way and shedding a little light on a process which initially is a bit confusing, not knowing what to do first etc. KUDOS
