Morals Clause
For Private Investigator Forum & IPIU Members:
The Board of Ethics (BOE) of the Private Investigators Forum, and it's sponsor - The International Private Investigators Union (IPIU), may terminate or suspend a member in the following circumstances:
• Any issue in which the BOE determines the best interests of the Private Investigators Forum and it's sponsors require the member to no longer retain the member title and/or affiliation of Member of the Private Investigators Forum;
• Any issue in which the Member does not accept reassignment of affiliation as determined by the BOE;
• Any conduct of the Member in violation of any criminal statute of moral turpitude;
• An intentional violation of any law, rule, regulation, constitutional provision, bylaw or interpretation of the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU, by a member of the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU, or any other person under the Member's supervision and direction, which violation may, in the sole judgment of the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU, reflect adversely upon the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU or its mission program;
• Any issue of Conduct of the member which is seriously prejudicial to the best interests of the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU or its mission program.
MOREOVER:
• The Private Investigators Forum or IPIU may terminate member's affiliation if the member shall at any time fail, refuse or neglect to conform his personal conduct to the standards of good citizenship and good professional respect as a member of the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU;
• The member shall not commit any act or do anything which might tend to bring member into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule, or which might tend to reflect unfavorably on the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU, or any sponsor of the mission program;
• Members shall conduct themselves in accordance with the highest standards of morality, honesty, fair play, and respect and will not do anything which shall be detrimental to the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU generally or which shall subject any of these entities to civil action, ridicule, or contempt.
• Members shall conduct themselves with due regard to the public conventions and morals. The member shall not do or commit any act or thing that will tend to degrade a member or the Private Investigators Forum or IPIU in society or promote public hatred, public disrepute, contempt, scorn, or ridicule, or that will tend to shock, insult or offend the community or public morals or decency or prejudice the Private Investigators Forum, IPIU, and/or the private investigators industry in general.

• Any disputes arising under this Moral Clause, and Terms of Use Agreement, Section 1, Section 2, Section 3, Section 4, Privacy Statement, Returns & Shipping, shall be governed by and be construed according to the applicable laws of the State of Montana, without regard to the conflict of laws provisions thereto, and shall be exclusively resolved in the competent court in Kalispell, Montana. Each party hereby irrevocably waives, to the fullest lawful extent, all right to trial by jury in any proceeding relating to this agreement, the notes or the transactions they contemplate.
