I am so glad I found out about the International Private Investigators Union (IPIU). I have just sent in all my personal info, i.e. fingerprints, pictures, etc. and I am very excited. I can't wait until I get my books and test so that I can finish them and start working. This has been a dream come true.
Thank you !!!!!

When you invision yourself accomplishing a dream, the key is to find out the process, then set short- term goals that will then lead you to long-term achievemnts that will in turn take you to your dream!;)

After reading the postings I find myself getting more and more excited and not even being sure I grasp the full concept of IPIU.
I just know that this is something I've wanted to do for the last 5-6 years and I feel like my dreams may soon start becoming reality.
It seems like something would come up and I'd choose to set my desires on the back burner. Never again!! I feel that with my determination and the support that I will receive from others on this forum that the time for me is now.
Thanks for being here(and there)!

Mary,
I feel the same way you do. This has been my dream come true and I never knew that they would train us. If I didn't happen to see it on the internet I would have never known.
I hope everything works out for you and I hope your dreams do come true.

Hey Mary,
If you ever find yourself putting your desires on the back burner again, remember that you have to take care of yourself first in order to be able to take care of others (paraphrased from something I heard from Dr Phil McGraw). :)
You deserve to have your dreams come true! Hang in there!

I 'm so over whelmed by all the positive responses I received. I can't thank you all enough for that, it made my day. I almost (almost) don't want to go out of town this next week.
It feels good to know you're not alone and that there's alot of support out there!!
Again thank-you all so much!

Hi, Mary!
Yes, life tends to get in the way of your dreams. That's when you have to push harder and make them happen. Persevere! You'll make it.

Hey Mary,
You are a heart-felt person. Hang in there. People are good and I've found there are many of the good ones here on this forum.
Everyone is so encouraging, it rubs off and one can't help their self but to climb aboard the "encouragement boat."
So I wish to encourage you to keep on going with your new goals and see them through. I’ve learned completing anything I put my hand too has a tremendous reward waiting once the goal is completed, and only offers new horizons beyond the accomplishments.
Welcome aboard and I'm glad to be a passenger with you and all the rest of the folks here. :)
