Aloha,
Do we have an email account at ipiu.org?
Thanks,
Ed

Currently, IPIU does not provide e-mail for all members. At this point, only moderators and administration have accounts set up. I am unsure if this is a benefit that will be available later to the general members.

We were just notified of a new email system for all IPIU members that should be in place in about 4 weeks. :)
(Currently, only moderators and staff have one)

I am looking forward to that feature, too. I don't know if anyone has advised you or not of who to use as an email carrier; however, when I joined the administration insisted that trainees use yahoo email, explaining that yahoo was the most secure server available. Since creating a free account with yahoo, I have received all emails and haven't had any problems.

Malcolm,
I got my own email server with own domain. But it would be nice to have one at ipiu.org since we pay dues as members. So that would be a great benefit also for us members.
Aloha,
Ed

Malcolm, I am with you on this, I got a yahoo email when I signed up. I have not had any problems with this account. I love the fact that they use Nortons to scan the emails. You can take your money to the bank with Nortons! I look forward to having an IPIU email, this would be great. http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/kao/otn/pmail3.gifI hope IPIU uses Nortons to scan with, also (just a little hint). ;)

Has there still not been any word on the ipiu email for the members? That would be a nice benefit to have.

Hi All,
Interesting thread I've been reading about the possibility of an IPIU email account.
Are we still in neutral mode, or has this been developed for IPIU members yet? After reading many of the forums so far, I have not seen any indication of obtaining an IPIU. org email account.
If anyone knows where we stand at this time, please let me know.
Thank you,

An IPIU e-mail account would be wonderful! I know that in order to do that their server must be able to carry all of that information. Big Job, Big Responsibility. Look forward to hearing more.....
