Tillie,

I split your question from the Trainee Questions & Answers forum to the Technical Forum.

I also edited your post to comply with the forum rules. Please take a few moments to review the link below.

For Forum Rules: Click Here: Forum Rules Topic Link (http://www.ipiu.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=18125#post18125)

Since you are using AOL as a server, you might be better off emailing your personal trainer. If you don't know who your personal trainer is, send an email to USA@IPIU.org to find out how to contact your trainer.

Meanwhile, you may want to browse through the Technical Support forum (where you are right now). You will find valuable information that will help you.

We have many features on the board to help you view new activity. When you first access the forum, on the right hand side you will see Welcome, and you name. Directly below that, you will seem View New Posts. If you click there, you will get a list of all the activity on the board since you last visited. You may then browse and read each one. This is probably the easiest way to browse new material.

The other way is for your email notification to be turned on. This will automatically send you a personal email when someone replies. The email will supply a link. Depending on your server and computer, you may or may not be able to simply click on the link to see the answer. You may have to copy and paste the link into the browse window.

These are just a few suggestions I have. Other members may have other suggestions.

Hope this helps. Please be sure to contact your personal trainer, though. :)

p.s. I am sending this directly to your personal ebox in case you can't locate it here. :)

Hi Tillie! Another thing you can do is to utilize the http://www.ipiu.org/forums/images/top_search.gif button on the top right side of your screen. It is just to the right of the http://www.ipiu.org/forums/images/top_faq.gif button. You may have to scroll your screen just a bit to see it.

If you click on the http://www.ipiu.org/forums/images/top_search.gif button, enter your name in the appropriate box. When you complete the search, you will be given a list of all the posts you have made to date. You can click on the one you are looking for and you can view that thread.

Essentially this is the same thing that happens when you click on the link provided in the notification e-mails. But some people have trouble with links when using AOL. If your links don't run properly, try the http://www.ipiu.org/forums/images/top_search.gif button. If you have any more problems, just let us know. :)
