On tuesday july the 15th of the year 2002; I recieved
my private investigation identity card, issued by the security board
of the International private Investigation Union (IPIU).
After three months of continuing reading the forums
and learning thru my own pace process, it got to my mail.

It seems to me, this is just the begining in my career
in the field of private investigation. I'm positive that IPIU
will do the best they can to get me set up with local agencies
to start trainee assignments. With that in mind to develop all
my achived knowlegde within the field.

I also would like to thank God, for giving me patience in
this long waiting process. I'm certain that all of this shall
bring good result. At the same time to the new visitors
members of the Union and also to the staff, that working
together has make this possible.

Sincerly, Temistocles Tatis.

Understanding the process of learning as way to determine
how far a person could go and how long will it take to achive
a goal setting in their mind, is not as easy as it look. I would like
to share my point of view, base on my own reality.

When I first decided to begin to study a course in the field
of private investigation, after been working for about nine years
in the safety and prevention security industry in Florida. After
observed things and people for that amount of time, such
environment create according to my perception, a need
to get deeper into things and people mind.

I began to find out information from people that run across
to me, and in my spare time, use the computer at home
and begin to search to verify and find more. By doing this
simple tact, I begin to feel a sastifaction of obtaining results
even it was free.

By continue searching I got to know the IPIU. Yesterday I just
begin to know a little more about admistrators, moderators
members and private investigators by looking in their profiles.
And now I can also see, how well prepare most of this gentleman
are in the field of private investigation .

Most of the them have, four and six years of university education.
That mean, I'm as a simple person, dealing with high class people
wich so much knowledge, they problably can read my mind. I'm
glad to be part of this knowledgeable organization. So now I do
have the comprenhension of the methodology applying to process all the members to get agencies assigments.

We all have to go thru a prescreening filter, so IPIU remained
the good reputation as a international organization. In such way
every body with in IPIU grow up knowing and applying their
honest and great filosofy, you are the thing you can be.

Hi Temistocles,

You are correct in your deduction that learning is a long process; a lifelong one at that. As with anything we pursue in our lives, careers, relationships, families etc., we must build a solid foundation.

I have found IPIU to be a solid and reputable organization on which to build my new career. They are registered with the Canadian Better Business Bureau and have had no complaints within the last three years.

The information I've gleaned from this forum has been most helpful and encouraging thanks to all the existing members.

As we read, read, read, we put together the pieces of the puzzle and we learn, learn, learn.

The definition of process: a systematic series of actions directed toward some end.

I am in the process or system now and despite wanting that system to move a little faster sometimes, I have found all my paperwork to arrive complete and in a timely fashion. I am anxiously awaiting my training manual and test and in the meantime...I will have patience, patience, patience!

Aloha Temistocles,

I must say that when I first started with IPIU I did not know anything about PI. I always wanted to be a PI and always watch 007 and Spy Kids.. haha.. What was funny that I found an ad in monster.com about joining or having intrest in becoming a PI.. I called in and left a voice mail regarding application and here I am today.

Since I started with this forum I learned a lot about becoming a PI and also the state rules and regulations here in Hawaii. I am so excited to get licensed myself, but I still need experience also because one of the requirements for Hawaii is having a 4 year experience in the field, but thats okay I know I will learn a lot. :)

I've been reading and reading and reading so just keep reading. They have a lot of other PI university and I know that IPIU offer for members.

I should let you go for now. Keep up the good work.

Aloha,

My constanly inspiration and strong faith that I have kept in
the long process of becoming a competent private investigator,
in conjunction with the great organization as the IPIU, have
giving me enough confidence to keep my discipline as well as my
patience alive to continue developing into the field.

All the members and staff support of our organization, has been
a tremendous help in the motivation of my building profession.
The encouragment I recieved a while ago in which the forums
guide promotion was involved, really created an increase in my
potentiality to learn things that I though was impossible for me.

I have to put God first, because I'm convinced that I'm doing
all this because of his blessing. The experience I obtained in
my past assignment as well as the result, it's tell me an honest
and great message, knowledge and preparation are important
if you achieved it having in mind the guide of the divine power.

I do hope that by doing such action, I not breaking any rule.

When you give a testimony of something the way I see it,
must be base on the true. But also you must have in your heart.
I have learned that what you have inside yourself, your mouth
talk about it. Base on that concept I think is very important to understand the real meaning of a testimony.

Today I like to thanks the IPIU again, for allowed me to learn the desires of my heart at my own pace.

To share our knowledge is one of greatest value of life.
The base of education is to learn to improve our world.
We as a community share interest and learn from
each others. Here in this forums we all apply those
principles. Is the IPIU family the force that generate
actions to each one of us to develop our self and
to continue helping members. I feel that way today.

The IPIU has about fifty forums according to my recollection.
All of them are very interesting, wonderful and educational.
But this precise forum has one of the most beautiful thing.
Here in this one, you can express your own emotion, understanding and feeling about your progress as a human been.

The best and most beneficial investigation we can conduct's the one about our own self. I deeply believe that a person
can not investigate another person if they are not aware
of who they are first.( Think about it). Thank IPIU for having
this selected forum.

Sincerely, Temistocles Tatis.

It's a great satisfaction for me to see in the process of practicing
all the investigation technique and tools that I study in the course
I finished in May 2001 with Educational Learning Direct. I came
to the IPIU having a lot of theory in my mind. And step by step
by conducting assignments I have become a real witness in a
very short amount of time of the marvellous of this organization.

It won't be easy to constanly struggle to reach higher. I think
we need to take time to mend ourselves. We need to keep moving forward, keep reaching for the top. But there are things beyond our control. We can not expect that, if we do all we can,

Temistocles, it is really encouraging to see your postings throughout the different forums! Surely you have found what you enjoy, and are good at. You respond swiftly, and helpfully, with always a smile in your words. And, your almost daily testimonials of gratitude are a spiritual inspiration, as well.

The only way to FIND is to SEARCH!

That's what we investigators are good for, 'cause someone is always looking for something!

Temistocles Tatis

Like you said to find you must search. I always remember
a good teacher that I had many years ago. He encourage me to read and to write in my own language. All his motivation were
base in only one aspect. Repetition is the mother of learning.
I grow up having that foundation in my life.

And as you could see, my dedication's simply are in the area
that really give me pleasure and joy. I do see my life as a very
short journey in which I have to do as much as possible before
it gets to an end. That's one of the reason that I do prefer to concentrate basicly in the things that I really enjoy.

Yes , I do feel very happy working in these forums with all of you.

Sincerely, Temistocles Tatis.
The base of life for me, is just to enjoy to the fullest. But you must do it your way.

To create any thing in the field of private investigation, we must build a solid foundation inside our selves. Capable of developing a productive relantionship with others, base on honest principles.

Temistocles Tatis

Since I register to get to know about the IPIU, I been working
almost every single day in these forums. I have read enough
to understand the principles and goals of our organization.
To be honest I strongly believe to keep your self inform and
also to learn more about the field, our forums are a good place.

But you must participate and share. The way these forums are designed are really for you to spend time and to develop your way of thinking within the field. Must of the questions you might have, are already been answers, but you must get to the right
forums. In other words our forums are like a large library.

When you know the location of the book, you just go head and obtain the one you want. But when you can't find it for your self,
then you also need assistance from one of the members.
It's real nice to be here every day.

But it seems more important to have time to seat down and

I really do not know yet how far my mind can develop. But I do
know that every single day I'm increasing the awarness of my senses. I put a lot of attention in my private investigation study.
Focusing precisely in remembering past and present situations.
Developing a way to understand things as fast as possible.

Creating my own coding signal if you will to detect new knowledge
to accomplished investigation tasks. Exercising my brain to deal with all scenes that I might encounter in the future. There's one
little important thing that my father in his teaching always want me to comprehend and now I can understand it. Read like this...

Hello Everyone!
We were searching for a home a few years ago and fell in love with quite a few. The neighborhoods looked great and the houses were quite beautiful. When it came time to decide on the property we liked best, the choice was difficult . Our realtor then offered the best advice I've ever heard. She said, "All may glimmer like gold in the day time and the property may offer all that you seek. But the best way to tell if you'd truly enjoy a home is to tour the neighborhood, visit the schools, shop at the local establishments and, by all means, talk to the neighbors!"

That best describes my experiences since joining IPIU in March. A PI career seemed ideal. The future seemed bright. The potential seemed attainable and totally without boundaries. So, after touring the IPIU community, visiting the establishments and talking to my peers, I'm totally convinced that this is indeed the place to be! So I moved right in!

The best and ulimited success to you all!

Riching to a goals is very interesting and excited process. In
which we must be alert and aware of every aspect of it. We
must constanly develop patience and discipline to deal with it.
By combining it with great determination we can get to our

Yes, you have said that quite right. It is almost like getting in the car to do an assignment and not knowing directions, or where we are heading - - so we must be prepared with a road map, that will guide us and hopefully get us there and have everything planned and preplanned. And taking all necessary equipment with us, with includes, patience, guide, and a true desire to get the job done.

Thank you for such a warm response. I've observed and worked with many disgruntled and down right hostile people who hate everyone, everything and are satisfied with nothing. It's an every day struggle to avoid being one of them. That's the heart of the message and a primary focus of my life. Take care!

I would like to say there are some of us who can't spend all day or night on reading all the forums that are here for us. How do find the time to do all this? With working 2 full time jobs and going to school 2 nights a week. I have always wanted to be a PI and have taken courses and have over 20 years in the Security field and it has not gotten me anywhere, and it gets alittle discouraging. Any help or advice you have would be greatly appreciated. At this point of time I am ready to call it quits.
