I just a little lost here, well really lost to be honest,
I haven't received the paperwork in the mail yet. So what in the world in going on. If anyone has been down this road before would you please break it down for me.

The questions you ask have been answered somewhere on this board. I know you may feel overwhelmed by the extensive amount of content you are previewing. The good news is we have tools to assist you in your search. Before asking a question, you can click on the Search button in the upper right-hand corner of each page. (You may have to scroll your screen to find it.) With this feature, you can search the board by putting in a word or words, stipulate which forums you want to search, and select options for displaying your search results. Sound hard? It's actually a piece of cake not to mention a real time saver. :)

As a new member, we encourage you to read the first two topics listed in the Union Association News: Membership Benefits. These topics pretty much answer most of the questions the new members ask. ;)

When you have read those topics, browse and read all the topics in this Trainee Questions & Answers forum. I know there is a lot. But you may find buried treasures of information in some of the threads and posts, not to mention all the other goodies. :)

Hi, I too am very new at this and not sure as to where to look for the help and assistance that I need. Do we have a "body" to be with on training or will it be directly over the forum? Hopefully, we will be working face to face with a trainer. I am very anxious to get this up and going and will spend as much time as needed as I have no home obligations and want to be busy and with the interesting work that will be provided. Can anyone answer as to how we will be trained? How long? When can we expect to receive an income? Thank you. Looking forward to your help

Hi Michael,

I too am a newcomer with alot of questions, but the more I read in the forums the more I understand the process. I can give you one tip though, when you go to get fingerprinted, call your local police station first to see if they can do it . I ended up having to go to The County Courthouse because my local authorities couldn't do it.Doing that might save you a few steps!

I think its a great idea to allow all the trainees to talk to one another, but where is the application for employment? How do I find out how all of this works?I am completely lost. I cant wait to start learning about PI work, however, im not sure i know how to reach that point.
