I am just getting started at this and would like some direction as to things that have been helpful. I am excited, yet nervous about how to get it going.

Laureen it is good to have you with us. There will be some questions. But I think you will get them answered. Need help. Just ask. Someone will be glad to help. You are going to love IPIU. Also the people. Everyone helps. The forums will help just by reading as many a day as you can. They will train you and in no time you will be able to get around all the forums without any trouble. Good Luck. I hope you the best.

Same here, I'm still waiting on my packet to come in the mail. Everyone is very helpful and always willing to give information to the new people on how to get better at this. I love it and can't wait for everything to start going.

Good luck to all of you.:D

Laureen, I agree with you. The the International Private Investigators Union board contains a wealth of knowledge, so much in fact that the days seem to disappear while I'm encased in the material. I love the famly atmosphere, and I'm sure over time I'll be able to add insightful and experienced remarks to the posts other trainees make. Patience has always been a virtue of mine....I know I'll get to where I want to be one day so I'm making sure I take the right steps today.

Hey to everyone new. Welcome to the family. :) There is so much to learn and everyone is so helpful. Any questions you have will be answered in the forums. Questions that aren't answered in the forums will be answered by someone in the family. :p So just be patient, have fun, and READ! :D

Hello and welcome, Yara.

It's good that you're not nervous. I would think that after reading through all the different forums that there really isn't even time to be nervous anyway!
