I have a question? When I get assignments from my agency am I aloud to carry a sidearm and a badge? I was wondering just for safety sake. I have a protection permit already from my local courthouse.

The sidearm issue would be discussed between you and each agency manager you are working with. If you have a weapon permit, you may want to fax it to 775-429-1529 before you are credentialed, and then email IPIU to make sure they received it.

The badge/wallet item is permissable in all states because of it's dual-purpose lettering. But again, you may want to ask this question when you have access to the badge-equipment forum (after your Code of Ethics has been signed).
