Hi all. I find myself once again on Okinawa, and I am trying hard to find someone who can explain the intracasies of Japanese Law and where I would stand as an American PI here with sofa status since my husband is military. Could legal help me out here? Or even anyone who has firsthand knowledge of this information here on Island. Thanks.

I may not be of full help but I have lived on Okinawa for 13 years and when it comes down to the law alot of the laws delt with are in Naha. I think the Emabassy may be of help but there is also the MP's station. They are considered the police officers of the area. Try going to Kadena through gate 5 and it I think the MP's station should still be around that area. Hope that helps. As for laws, you may be of help with the CID....
