Hello
I have a question. Since replying to the Introduction portion of the forum I have been receiving e-mail updates of those replying to the Introduction forum through my e-mail. Is this normal?
My concern is that as new people reply to the Introduction, my e-mail inbox will become flooded with replies.
Thank you for your help on this in advance.
Cynthia Wilson :)

Hello again :(
My face is red here because I found the answer to my question quite by accident. I did not realize when posting my Intro that I needed to shut off my email notification when sending it. *oops*
Even after reading how to post to a forum, I missed that wee bit of advice, but in following another thread and answering it I learned of it then.
Sorry in advance for not paying closer attention while reading instructions.
Is there a way to turn off the e-mail notification after the fact on a thread? Or is this my first learning lesson?
Cynthia Wilson :o

You are doing good, Cynthia. Don't feel bad, you caught on pretty fast. All questions are answered by others before us... All we have to do is look. I sometimes forget to unclick the subscription when I leave a post, too. If you do, you can also go to userCP and click on subscriptions... there you can keep or delete any that you no longer want to get an e-mail on. There is lots to learn, have fun.

Hi Petra,
I went to subscriptions then unsubscribed from the two forums that I keep getting instant e-mails from. I think I possibly misunderstood. Did you mean unsubscribe from the forums or is there a delete key I missed? :o
Confusious didn't cover this in my last fortune cookie message
I guess I can re subscribe to the ones I let go of, I really only meant to stop the instant e-mails I kept getting.
Thanks for the help,
Cynthia Wilson

Cynthia,
That is what unsubscribe means... it will stop you from getting e-mails in the particular thread (not the whole forum) when others leave a post. You had it right... It gets to be a lot and sometimes it can fill up e-mail boxes awfully fast this way... So, if you can't get to your mails at least once a day, I would suggest to go back to the userCP sometimes and clean house. Got t
o.>" (that was my ca\]t giving her input....lol... paws all over my keyboard, lol...
I keep some all the time (since the beginning) and some I keep a little while and some I unsubscribe from right away... It's really up to you.
Once you are ready for assignments, e-mail is the important and most of the time the only way they contact us) so keep it ready for them... Good luck to you. Hope this helped.
