I am amazed at all the information I have come across since joining the International Private Investigators Union IPIU. Thanks so much for the info. concerning how to get your credit reports online. Never thought I would learn so much about that topic here, but guess it goes without saying that identity theft is something that is a big concern and is something a Private Investigator would need to know about.
Off to read some more and see what else I can learn while waiting for my manual to arrive! :D
Thanks Everyone!!

It is often surprising to new members just how much information on such a wide variety of subjects is available here at the IPIU.
As you progress in your development through the levels, and gain access to a greater number of forums, the field opens up a plethora of information and facts that becomes an indispensable source for the PI.
Enjoy, and grow in knowledge. ;)

I also think IPIU is fantastic. I didn't realize how much I could learn just by reading these forums. It opened my eyes on some things that I hadn't even thought about. It has made me really think about which areas I would like to specialize in and what areas would be the most rewarding for me.
I can't thank everyone enough, that has taken the time out of their busy days to teach us about the life of a Private Investigator.
Thank you,
Denise

DeniseHi Denise, :)
You will make a great PI. Just keep reading the forums in the areas that hold the most interest for you. In this way you will dig deeper and learn more. The members are all very supportive so you won't be left without feedback on any question.
When you have questions, just go to your Intro Topic and ask them from there. This way the Forum Trainers can best direct you in your progress.
Have a wonderful week,
TJ

Thanks TJ for your support and encouragement. I know I can go to the intro to ask questions, but usually if I keep reading I will find the answer so I don't have to.
You have a wonderful week too!

DeniseJust about everything is already here, Denise, :)
I think its really neat, that almost any question that one can think of to ask within this realm has already been addressed somewhere in the forums.  :p
Finding the answers helps develope the PI instinct. ;)

The more we search, the more we find. The layers peel away slowly... I can't imagine the wealth of knowledge in store for me down the road.

It is important to be amazed, but not overwhelmed. When I started this trek in Dec. '03, I didn't realize how much info was here.
For the record, I am still sifting through threads & posts. I have enjoyed the past few months and have learned tons. IPIU is definitely worth the time, $$, and energy.
Stay focused. ;)

Kurk is exactly right! IPIU has TONs of valuable information concerning the PI field. It is so nice to be Level 3 now and have access to upper forums. It gets better and better every day! I also received my IDIOT book in the mail yesterday and already read the 1st 5 chapters.

Hi Peggy,
I found myself at a hotel last Friday night and through reading in the the forum that all your personal information is encoded in the key that they give you I took them home and cut them up Hubby was a little confused until I showed him the board where I read it. I have traveled a lot and never gave a second thought to a little thing like a key!
