My husband and I are thinking of moving to Mexico in about 5 years. Where would I look for information regarding P.I.s working there?

I hope I have this is the right forum.

Thanks.

Try some of these links, they may be helpful. The first two links are agencies apparently which can operatoe south of the U.S. border.

Link 1 (http://www.smi-tx.com/)

Link 2 (http://www.mexicoinvestigations.com/)

I am not 100% positive about the following statement but I think Bounty Hunting in Mexico is considered illegal there. If you do a search in the IPIU forums, I am sure there is an article concerning a U.S. Bounty Hunter who was jailed a while back after capturing a fugitive across the border.

Hope this information helps.

I had no idea there would be anyplace like the links you showed me. I realize that a lot can change in 5 years but at least this gives us a place to focus and lets us know that unless things change really drastically, there might be a place for us later.

Thank you so much!!

No problem and I wish you well in your future endeavors. Take care and be sure to drop me a line if you ever need something. Not sure if I would be able to help but I will definitely try.

I am absolutely going stir-crazy waiting on my next mailing to get my credentials and manual. I think I have worn the Google search engine sensless in the last week. See Ya.

I am not sure, but I think that recently the extradition laws between the US and Mexico have changed so that any Mexican citizen who may be facing a death penalty or life in prison will not be extradited by the Mexican authorities. Anyone knowing for sure about this please feel free to correct me or confirm what I have heard. Mike

Hi Karen,

It's been over a year since you posted this. I am wondering how you got on and did the Mexico information flow freely for you? Is this still your plans?
